Craftsvilla celebrates World Ethnic Day on 19th June

Craftsvilla.com is going to celebrate World Ethnic Day on 19 June. It has roped in famous bollywood actress Vidya Balan to be the face of this special event. “By celebrating World Ethnic Day, we get an opportunity to go back to our roots. I feel strongly about the dying art of handlooms in the country, and also about the plight of artisans who are struggling for livelihood. I am delighted with the opportunity to spread awareness about it,” Vidya said in a statement.

“ World Ethnic Day is a concept that came out of the passion and vision of Craftsvilla.com, India’s largest online marketplace for ethnic products.  It is a way to celebrate unique cultures of the world on a single day in unison.”, said Monica Gupta, co-founder Craftsvilla.com.

I was glad to see a dedicated website promoting Indian wear, traditional designs, jewellery, crafts and more. I went through the website to see what it had to offer and was surprised to find many trendy designs in the ethnic wear section. Here is a list of what I liked.

1. The teal coloured net anarkali with sequins at the bust area is ideal for summer afternoons. The light and flirty fabric with floral print looks pretty sassy and smart. It will look good on anyone who wants a youthful appeal. This pretty anarkali is all for Rs. 999. Can you beat that? Here is the link to buy.
