Kama Jewellery launches new collection, invites bloggers to name it

#Competition entry

Kama Jewellery invited a group of 9 selected bloggers across Mumbai to their SEEPZ, Andheri boutique and unveiled the latest jewellery collection on 21st June, 2014. The bloggers meet called #DateWithDiamonds was arranged in association with Mumbaigloss.in. The event was a grand success. The bloggers found this visit very informative and entertaining as they also got to witness the process of how jewellery is made in the adjoining factory. They also got a chance to wear, touch and feel the new collection which was equally enthralling to them. The bloggers received exclusive silver pendants and crystal pens from Kama as a token of appreciation for their participation at the event.

The new collection which I would like to call ‘Imara’ is for strong women. Imara means strong or resolute. The statement neckpieces, rings and earrings are for someone who loves attention and knows how to handle such attention. It is for the empowered women. The use of yellow and white diamonds in the bold geometrical designs is absolutely stunning. Yellow diamonds create the illusion as if the wearer has the brightness of the sun, beauty of the marigold and glow of the turmeric. Am I going overboard? Well, it’s just that I can’t contain my excitement after wearing those beauties. The collection has a modern day appeal and can be worn with both modern and traditional wear. The collection uses Asscher, Emerald and Cushion cut diamonds that are set in 18kt white and yellow gold to accentuate the sparkle of the white and yellow diamonds.

Sparkle in the diamond, marvel in my eyes

My favourite from the collection is a necklace made with a string of cushion cut diamonds. That piece is simple yet absolutely stunning. It is a perfect accessory to a gown or monochrome maxi dress. It spells class and elegance. I also loved the bracelet which has big yellow cushion cut diamonds. It would certainly steal a few envying glances. I have worked with GIA in the past and I can pretty much say on the basis of my experience that the quality of stones used and the setting in the jewellery is of good quality.

Imara, as I would like to call it, is a collection for everybody. It has smaller pendant and earring sets as well which is perfect for a working woman. Be it corporate trainings or client meetings, the smaller sets are graceful and attractive. Kama Jewellery also has finance facilities for its customers. So, if you are looking to invest in a timeless piece then this collection should give you ample of choices.
