Spread over 6000 sq ft, this edgy and eclectic luxury retail space promises to be a novel shopping experience. From clothes to shoes to jewellery and home products, Bandra 190 has everything one looks for, and all under one roof! It is a first of its kind store in Mumbai. In Sussanne Roshan’s words, “Bandra 190 is a one-stop shop where a great variety can be found and one will experience a certain novelty that one sees in new-age buying. It’s reflective of the shabby chic that one sees in today’s lifestyles. The experience is almost that of a jewel box, which you can explore and experience.” It has seven floors dedicated to only and only popular designer labels. For high-street labels you can always visit a mall. But if you want Christian Louboutin , Alexander McQueen, Alice + Olivia, Chloe, DVF, Dolce & Gabbana, Dsquared, Herve Leger, Halston Heritage, Jason Wu, Saint Laurent Paris, Rag & Bone, Rachel Roy, Victoria Beckham, Saint Laurent Paris and Stella McCartney under one roof, this is where you need to go. Indian designer brands like Kitsch founded by sisters Charu and Priya Sachdev are also a part of Bandra 190. Charu Sachdev states, “Customers are evolving. They want the same luxury experience as they get abroad. This is what we strive for at Kitsch – to blur boundaries and bring to India a luxury shopping experience at par with the rest of the world.”
The ground floor has classic jewellery pieces by Maheep Kapoor for Satyani Fine Jewels, the first and second floor houses The Charcoal Project by Sussanne Roshan with fine gifting items and home interior pieces, the third floor is stocked with blingy elegant Indian, bridal and western wear by Seema Khan, while the fourth has the famous French shoe brand Christian Louboutin and the fifth and sixth floors display several fashion brands for men and women. If you are in search of stylists and want to get personal attention and advice on building wardrobe basics or dressing up for a special event then you can visit Le Mill Edit. A small selection of the fashion will be kept on site and rotated frequently with the brand. Bandra 190 is located at the Turner Road. Mumbai shopping experience is going to change with such concept stores for sure.
