Review Seven Colours Spa – veranda grand baie hotel & spa, Mauritius

Veranda Grand Baie Hotel & Spa might be a 3 star hotel but the property is beautiful and complete in Itself. The location is brilliant and the facilities are no less than a five star. I felt that it was pleasant in every way. Especially, I loved their Seven Colours Spa, which was a relaxing and an invigorating experience. It is located next to the hotel. It can be visited by the main road as well as through an inside passage joining the two properties. The spa in veranda grand baie hotel & spa is open from morning 9 am to evening 8 pm. Services are available only through prior reservation. It is open for anybody above 16 years of age. They have a special kids spa programme as well. (Kids need spas…????) Its a non-smoking area. All in all, the entrance is beautifully decorated and the reception area is kept perfumed with exotic oils.

Seven Colours spa at veranda grand baie hotel & spa treatments are inspired by the wisdom of ancient natural healing techniques. Benefits of botanical, aromatherapy and energetic pressure application are applied to create harmony for an individual’s mind and body. The services provided by the spa includes, facials, mini facials, hena application, body treatments and wraps, manicure, pedicure, nail art, etc.

I went to the spa as per my appointment and was greeted by the hostess. She explained me the procedure and asked me to change into the spa dress. She gave me a refreshing drink and asked me to relax for 20-30 minutes at the spa Jacuzzi.

I decided to get an Aqua massage. After 30 minutes, the attendant guided me to the treatment room which was kept ready for the service. The technician explained me the entire process and how it will help me to feel relaxed. It was for half an hour but the spray like jets of water massaged my skin thoroughly giving it an instant glow and hydration. The treatment room was warm and inviting, incensed and dimly lit, perfect for rejuvenation of mind and body. I came out all refreshed. It was priced at Rs 900 Mauritian rupee.

After the treatment, I requested them to give me a tour of the spa, which they readily obliged. I saw couple treatment rooms and other treatment rooms which were located upstairs near to the changing room.

All I could think was OH just missed out on this relaxing rendezvous. I also wanted to try their signature hot stone massage for 90 minutes which was priced at Rs 2700. Unfortunately, didn’t have enough time at hand. If you ask my verdict, I would say take out time for it. How often do you get pampered at an exotic locale?
